In the light of the recent calamity that struck Mindanao, the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with ABS-CBN Cebu, Ayala Center Cebu, PLDT SME Nation and JCI Mandaue is organizing CEBU FOR MINDANAO: AChristmas Concert of Hope, December 24, 2011 from 12:00noon – 2:00pm at the Ayala Activity Center.
This free concert is organized to enjoin the public to do their share and drop off their donations in cash and in kind at the stations that will be set up at the Activity Center on that day.
As of today, the following items have been identified as the immediate needs of the victims at the evacuation centers:
- Towels
- Water
- Underwear
- Sanitary Napkins
- Diapers
- Slippers
- Ready to Eat Food
- Blankets
- Foams
- Banig
- Used Clothing
- Mosquito Nets
- Medicines (for cough, colds, fever, antibacterial ointments)
- Water containers
In this regard, we would like to knock on your kind hearts for any donations that you can send. You can drop them off at the MCCI Office anytime or at Ayala Activity Center on December 24 from 10:00am –2:00pm. Likewise, PLDT SME SWUP (ATM, Credit Card Swipe) Stations will be available for the public should they want to donate through their credit or debit cards.
