One night in 2005, a bunch of guys gathered together at a bar at Gaisano Countrymall for a regular meeting of their JCI chapter… a few beers later a new project was born, giving free operations to indigent children who had a cleft lip/palate, children who would likely not have the same opportunities as other kids bec…ause they were either kept at home by embarassed parents or refused to go to school because of being picked upon.
Since then my chapter has been able to change an otherwise bleak future for hundreds of children, it has been 4 years now, and I am happy to find that the project still continues.
Please support the project. If you are looking to help others, something meaningful to do, at the same time molding yourself into a better leader, better person, find out more about JCI.. here is the link to my JCI chapter, JCI Mandaue.. http://jcimandaue.org/
