Last October our chapter had a chance to build a Solar Bottle Light together with Eventions a MyShelter Foundation partner in Cebu. Immediate Past President Jon Castañares offered his place to be our working ground. We started in the afternoon with the materials we got to start with. It’s fun building the Solar Bottle Light yet we have to be very careful also since the G.I. sheets are sharp and unfriendly. So being careless is not an option that day!
Eventions headed by Kimmy led the first bulb creation and later on we delegated tasks to our members. We ended at night already and we built 10 Solar Bottle Lights!
