Social media has allowed individuals and groups to connect across barriers and engage in dialogue and cooperation towards peace. However, it has also been used to spread hate speech and fuel violent rhetoric.
JCI Mandaue, together with JJC Trojans, in partnership with International Peace Diplomacy Corps Inc. will hold the third series of its Democracy Forum 2023: Youth Peace in Action series entitled “Impact of Social Media on Peace Building” this Friday, May 26, 2023 at 4:30PM.
