Dine For Smile: A Dinner for a Cause, organized by JCI Mandaue, was a successful fundraising activity held last June 18 at the Waterfront Hotel & Casino. The event surpassed all expectations, attracting over 100 attendees and raising an impressive amount of almost Php 200,000 for Phase 2 of MandaWe Smile.
In addition to the fundraising efforts, the attendees were treated to a showcase of exceptional talent from Cebuano Homegrown Talents and our very own MerryMen brothers. The event featured a fashion show featuring our Sister Chapters from JCI Cebu Hara & JCI WoMandaue wearing the works of celebrated Cebuano designers, as well as the JCI Mandaue Merchandise “T Tees & Sport Tees”. Furthermore, the event served as a platform for the launch of the MandaWe Celebrate Culture Cover, with the presence of JCI Central Visayas Batch Sidlak Presidents gracing our cover.
JCI Mandaue extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made the event possible: from our sponsors and partners to the attendees who participated in the auction. The funds raised from Dine For Smile will make a significant contribution to Phase 2 of MandaWe Smile, the organization’s ongoing project that aims to help Cleft Lip & Palate patients. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to NT Nike Cagulada, RVP Moca Charity Cañal, and RVP Karl Toledo for their presence and unwavering support at the Dine for Smile event.
The success of this event showcases the power of community engagement and highlights the positive impact that can be achieved when individuals come together for a common cause.
