Aimed to promote tourism in the City of Mandaue through food tourism and its Historical places. Also geared to help tricycle drivers in Mandaue City in rehabilitating their tricycles and in the long run, provide and introduce E-Trikes in the city – JCI Experience Mandaue conducted a tour with the participation of JCI Local Organization Chapters all over the Philippines and Sister Chapters – JCI Surigao Nickel, JCI WoMandaue JCI Bai Lawanen, and our sister chapter from Korea – JCI Samcheonpo.

Through the tour, our brothers and sisters from JCI were able experience the history of Mandaue through going to historical places in collaboration with Mandaue LGU and Mandaue Investment Promotions Tourism Action Center.

🚀 The tour started at the Mandaue Presidencia with an opening traditional Filipino Dance followed by visiting the National Shrine and Parish of Saint Joseph.
🚀 The next stop of the tour was Bantayan sa Hari, which was considered as a watchtower in the past against Moro Pirates and guests were able to experience Tricycle rides going to the location.
🚀 After the historical lookback of Bantayan sa Hari, an opening exhibit of the JCI 60th anniversary was attended by the guests in Parkmall followed by a hearty lunch on one of the best BBQ Places in Mandaue, Matias BBQ.
🚀 Desserts which includes dried mangoes, pineapple, tamarind, and etc, were also served by visiting the ProFoods Mango Museum where a tour on how dried mangoes are created from peeling the mangoes to packing them for shipping.
🚀After that, the guests visited the Silhig Factory in Brgy Paknaan with a very warm welcome from their Brgy Captain. A dance presentation derived on how the Silhig was made was shown to the guests. Lastly, the tour ended back in Mandaue Presidencia where dancers showcased Mandaue’s Panagtagbo Festival!

As part of JCI Mandaue’s commitment to create sustainable and impactful projects, showcasing what Mandaue can offer not only to our Filipino delegates all over the Philippines but also to our Korean delegates, this will help boost the tourism and put Mandaue in the map! 🌹🚀
