JCI Mandaue proudly kicks off 2025 with an inspiring addition to its community initiatives. 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗽, under the “𝗪𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺”, is a transformative agricultural project aimed at empowering the farmers of Camotes Island, Cebu—spanning the municipalities of San Francisco, Tudela, Poro, and Pilar.
This initiative aligns with Cebu Province and the Department of Agriculture’s Region VII “Sugbo Maisan” campaign, revitalizing local agriculture and uplifting the livelihoods of our hardworking farmers.
In partnership with 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, the second phase of ‘𝗠𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗽’ launches on January 6-7, 2025, introducing a series of impactful modules designed to address the needs and challenges of the farming community.
𝗠𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝟭: 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Mechanization helps farmers work smarter, reducing labor and increasing efficiency, leading to higher yields with less effort.
𝗠𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝟮: 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆: This module teaches farmers to manage costs, boost profits, and adopt a business mindset for sustainable farming.
𝗠𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝟯: 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵: Strong cooperatives enable farmers to share resources, collaborate effectively, and achieve collective success.
“𝗠𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗽” is more than a project—it’s a movement to cultivate resilience and empower communities. By embracing mechanization, financial acumen, and collective strength, we aim to harvest not just corn, but hope, prosperity, and a sustainable future for every farmer in Camotes Island.
