Midweek Memories: Saving Tarsiers, One Step at a Time with JCI Boholana Kisses

JCI Mandaue was honored to be part of 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝: 𝐄𝐲𝐞𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧, a heartfelt initiative led by 𝐉𝐂𝐈 𝐁𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐊𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 to protect and preserve Bohol’s beloved tarsiers last February 2, 2025. These fragile creatures, known as one of the world’s smallest primates, face growing threats from habitat destruction and human disturbances, making conservation efforts more urgent than ever.

Through this fundraiser, we took part in raising awareness and supporting habitat protection by promoting sustainable ways to help. From meaningful discussions to fun collaborations, it was an experience filled with purpose, impact, and camaraderie.

A huge thank you to JCI Boholana Kisses for spearheading this cause and allowing us to contribute to something so significant. It was a pleasure working together, and we look forward to more projects that protect biodiversity and create positive change!
