The Sagop Bakhaw: Bakhaw Growers Cooperative will help provide valuable information and support to the fisher folk communities of Sta. Rosa, Olango Island. The event will consist of several sessions aimed at promoting cooperative membership, mental health wellness, livelihood programs, and the systematic management of fisheries and aquatic resources.

  • 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 session will offer participants an overview of cooperative membership, highlighting the benefits of cooperation, the process of becoming a member, and the responsibilities associated with membership.
  • 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 will focus on the importance of mental health wellness, covering topics such as recognizing signs and symptoms of mental health conditions, effective stress management techniques, and available resources for mental health support.
  • 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤, specifically exploring the subjects of Mud Crab Farming (RAS) and Mangrove Nursery. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about these programs and their potential for enhancing livelihood opportunities.
  • 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 will provide insights into effective approaches for managing these valuable resources.
