On Day 3, the group visited Nagaoka Machinery Co. LTD in Taoyuan, a leader in regenerative elevator energy storage systems. The delegation explored the latest in energy-efficient elevator technologies, gaining valuable knowledge on how sustainability is being integrated into different industries.
The final stop was at the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) in Taipei, where 3 companies participated in the business presentations:
– PFTA (plant fiber material application and products)
– Billion Wats Technologies (solar panels and inverters, energy storage, and EV chargers)
– ADD Stone (green building materials)
This last round of presentations provided further opportunities for collaboration discussions, with ASDD Earl once again leading a session focused on building sustainable networks in Cebu and creating long-term partnerships.
This trip not only sparked interest in the upcoming TaiOneDaue 2.0 event in May 2025 but also secured commitments from Taiwanese companies to collaborate with JCI Mandaue’s adopted communities, bringing new opportunities for sustainable growth.
