MandaWe Smile is JCI Mandaue’s flagship medical outreach initiative dedicated to providing free cleft lip and cleft palate surgeries for children from marginalized and underserved communities. For many families, corrective surgery remains far beyond reach, leaving children to face not only physical challenges but also emotional and social barriers. Through this program, JCI Mandaue helps bridge that gap by giving children the opportunity to live healthier, more confident lives.
In partnership with Smile Train and Operation Smile, MandaWe Smile goes beyond surgery by ensuring a more complete healing journey. The initiative includes post-operative care, speech therapy support, and recovery monitoring, helping children regain not just their smiles, but also their ability to communicate and thrive. More than a surgical mission, MandaWe Smile is a promise of transformation, where healing begins with one child and hope echoes through entire families and communities.
Objectives
To provide free cleft lip and cleft palate corrective surgeries for children from marginalized communities.
