TOGAther, We Stand
Ensuring that no student is left behind at the threshold of graduation by turning support into opportunity and dignity into achievement.
TOGAther We Stand is JCI Mandaue’s educational support initiative dedicated to helping marginalized graduating high school students who struggle to afford one of the most symbolic elements of their academic journey: their graduation toga. For many students, the cost of graduation requirements can become a final barrier before reaching the finish line. Through this program, JCI Mandaue steps in to carry that burden, providing toga support so students can walk the stage with pride, dignity, and a sense of accomplishment.
Beyond financial assistance, the program serves as a platform for empowerment by conducting Digital Responsibility for Youth sessions and practical life-readiness trainings that prepare students for the next chapter, whether entering the workforce or pursuing higher education. Expanding its reach, TOGAther We Stand also extends support to Alternative Learning System (ALS) students, sponsoring those who cannot afford their educational requirements for a full year to help them complete their assessments and continue their journey with confidence. More than a graduation initiative, it is a declaration that every learner deserves to feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
Objectives
To provide graduation toga assistance to marginalized students and remove financial barriers to completing their academic milestone.
To equip graduating youth with knowledge on digital responsibility, life readiness, and future pathways after high school.
To support ALS learners through sponsorship and educational assistance, enabling them to complete their assessments and continue their pursuit of education.
