Talamban Cebu City – JCI Mandaue and JCI WoMandaue co-hosted a basketball clinic for the basketball enthusiasts of Bgy Talamban Cebu City. Around 400 kids participated in this event where their skills and knowledge were improved under the guidance of one of Cebu City’s’ most sought after and experienced coach Sir Jason Velez.
The clinic focused on various aspects of the game, such as shooting, dribbling, passing, defense, and teamwork.
Aside from inculcating love for the sport, the purpose of this program is also to instill discipline among the kids and engage them into sports activities to keep them physically and mentally fit.
The kids also received a certificate of completion, a shirt and a basket ball as a gift for sustaining the 4-saturday session.
