MAISang Pangarap
A bold agricultural initiative cultivating hope, productivity, and food security through modernized farming.
MAISang Pangarap is JCI Mandaue’s agricultural development initiative focused on bringing mechanization, innovation, and sustainable farming opportunities to the northern communities of Cebu. Rooted in the vision of transforming idle lands into productive sources of livelihood, the program extends its reach to Camotes Island through its four municipalities: Poro, San Francisco, Tudela, and Pilar, as well as San Remigio, creating a wider agricultural movement across underserved farming communities.
Centered on the promotion of yellow corn farming, the initiative champions food security while empowering local farmers with access to modern farming methods and equipment. Through strategic collaboration with Ford Tractor Philippines, MAISang Pangarap introduces mechanized solutions that improve efficiency, increase yields, and reduce labor challenges. More than a farming program, it is a long-term investment in rural development, proving that with the right tools and shared vision, forgotten lands can become fields of opportunity.
Objectives
• To promote yellow corn farming as a sustainable agricultural source for food security and livelihood.
• To maximize idle and underutilized lands by converting them into productive farming areas.
• To strengthen rural farming communities through mechanization, partnerships, and agricultural innovation.
